Day 3!(:

            Absolutely loving Haiti, everything about it!!

                        The people are so so welcoming!! I want to come back every year! Its beautiful here! The food is some of the best food ive ever eaten!! It feels like we’ve been here for a long time even though its only been 3 days!!!

Today we did our first day of VBS.. at first it was kind of intimidating.. but it was SO MUCH FUN! The girls love playing with our hair! And it was very evident that even though we spoke different languages we all spoke one thing the same: love. Loving on the kids and them loving on us back was so amazing. They are very fond of us, we had soo much fun playing games and laughing and singing, sometimes you could just forget that you cant understand a word that they say..

            Im picking up some words in Creole, not very many, but enough to show them that I care enough to try to learn the language.. the kids that live in the house we’re staying in (Jackencie, olivie, Golda & Taisha) are very willing to help us learn songs and whatever else we need. They love to play games with us outside, and they even joined us in devotions last night.

            I defiantly wish I could just stay here!! Super excited for the rest of the week, praying everything goes well, and God helps us make a good example of Christ to all these people(:
