Haiti,

I went down to be part of a “Mission Team.” I wanted to be careful to work well with the local culture and not be an annoying, offensive American. The first day was indeed a culture shock. We went to the job site to work on the second day. It was raining and we all got soaked. But so did a lot of Haitians. Every day they endure, survive and continue to love and praise God! The Haitian people are resilient and hard working. I am humbled by strength of their people. Everywhere on businesses and vehicles are references to praising God.  I went to Haiti to work on a “Mission Team”. What I found was good men and women from Michigan and Haiti that I worked beside in Christ Service.

Thank you people of Haiti for moving my heart.
