The night and early morning brought more rain to Cap-Haitian. The water continues to run down sidewalks and streets but they are more passible as the week goes on. Every morning we share smiles with Mrs. Voltaire and her kitchen workers that prepare such wonderful meals. It has been a spiritual blessing to share meals with my old and new sisters and brothers across Michigan here in Haiti. I’ve seen old friends in Cap-Haitian and met such hard workers like Jude, John and McKinsey. Each have shared their God given ability to work as a team doing God’s work.

This week brought the fruits of God’s plan to clear the way to rebuild the wall in Bethany. So much had to be removed by hand before the machinery could come in. I heard that the family that lived next to the wall was moved out the night before it caved in.  Praise God who cares for us all. Our last trip to the sight was an eye awakening to how much had been done this week. The temple was filled with hundreds of cement blocks and bags of sand to use on the project. If weather permits I’m sure they will press on.

God knowing the storm would hit before we arrived gave us many donation to bring. The churches collected clothing, school supplies, tools, flash drives, shoes (with 1 pair of much needed boots) to give to the Haitian. I thank each and every one of you who was led by God to give. I thank Him for allowing me to come once again.

Throughout this week my prayer to be used by God has been answered. All I had to do was to be willing to give of my time. The ability to show love without favor, endurance to run the race and the blessings of evening singing and devotions was all supplied by Him. His plans are always perfect. Devotions each night reminded me of who I am in Christ. I AM REDEEMED because of what He has done for me, the Haitians and everyone. He is a Just and Righteous God. Worthy of all our praise and adoration. He never gives up on us and honors us when we come with humbled hearts asking for forgiveness. O Lord search me and know me. Mold me and make me as you will. Give me patience and a heart full of trust and obedience to you alone. Amen.

The church continues to grow under the leadership of Pastor Voltaire and hope we continue to support them in word and deed.

I’m grateful to serve such an AWESOME GOD whose love shine through any circumstance and comes out VICTORIOUS for all His people.
