Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in Heart for the shall see
God.
What can be more pure in heart than a child who loves Jesus?
We know that Our Father God loves them more but sometimes we fail to let God
use us to help his children young and old. God used us to be his hands, ears
and mouth today. To Him be given all the glory and honor.
Due to the mud and the rain the children are out of school
in Haiti. We had a wonderful time playing with the children, jumping rope,
singing songs and teaching bible stories. It was really wonderful to see that
the simple things of life really matters.
They were not trying to keep simple things like crayons. They shared
with each other. They all shared a bag of skittle candies each getting about
seven skittle a piece.
Their artwork of the creation story had the sun, the earth,
and trees. I was reminded at that moment that we fail to thank Our Father God
for these daily things we see every day. Psalm 107:1 Oh give thanks to the Lord
for He is good! His mercies endure forever. The children reminded me and others
in the group that God wants us to have a child like heart.
The children earlier in the day had helped the adults move
gravel from one place to another using buckets. They stepped in and made it a
game. They all helped the adult to enjoy this hard task. Again they showed us
all what it means to have a child like heart not complaining but enjoying
whatever God ask us to do.
I thank the Lord for these lessons. I do want to see you in
everything I do.
