Post from Cap Haitian!

Well we got up at 3:15am this morning for a 4am shuttle to Ft Lauderdale Airport!  Our flight left a little late so we didn't take off until about 7am.  Very nice flight for me as I slept for 2 ot the 2 1/2
hours!  We arrived and Pastor Voltaire was there to meet us!  Nice reunion to see our friend and faithful servant of Christ in this wonderful city.  I'm sure members of our team had immediate culture shock as we traveled the city to Pastor Voltaire's home.  As always the accomadations are wonderful.
We have Steve and Jude helping us mostly this year, taking care of us!  I was able to give Steve a camera that he and I's dear friend sent with me for him.  Looks like VBS will be 4 days instead of three and we will have approimately 140 kids.  50 from Pastor Voltaire's Church and 90 from off the streets.  We will use the soccer and basketballs that Nick had shipped here prior to our arrival. We visited the school grounds where the team will do VBS.  I am about to start studying my message for tomorrow again.  We have had much fun already and the team is really getting along and having fun with each other, and our wonderful Haitian hosts.  Please continue to pray as we head into ministry in the days ahead.  I will be speaking tomorrow at First Baptist Church of Cap Haitian.  Then VBS will run Monday thru Thursday.  I will be speaking to the Pastors on tuesday, and the Pastor's and lay delegates on wednesday and thursday.  Looks like there will be a good crowd this year as it's a election year!!  We still need to get John and Morel up to the university to try and fix the Wi-Fi and clean up some computers.  Love you all and appreciate your prayers!!  One other note, the city looks cleaner then usual and it looks like some improvements are starting to be made.  That is good news for Haiti!
