Father God! What an amazing journey this has been. I’m sad that there are only two more full
days before it is over. There is so much
that still needs to be done. We have met
so many wonderful people here. I have
observed the people of Cap-Haitien and heard so many wonderful stories. They quickly come together when there is a
need and work together to resolve the issue.
One man saw that I was struggling to get out of the truck because of
where we had parked and he just reached in and pulled me out of the truck. Just a man on the street. Remarkable! They see my cane and want me to sit wherever we
go…lol! My hope is that You are pleased
with what we have accomplished in Your name.
That the fruits of our labors seed a greater trust between us and the
Haitians. We are here to help and serve,
not take their jobs.
Today was a beautiful day.
The choirs at church were amazing.
My tears flowed hearing them sing.
They LOVE You! I wish I knew
their language. I’ll work on that. What a beautiful country! The drive to the beach was very nice on the
paved road, much appreciated after the trip to Pignon. I can’t see myself ever complaining about the
roads in Michigan again.
Father God, You know what these people need. Please guide us and give us the wisdom to help
them fulfill their need. We cannot help
someone who cannot help themselves. And
here is where the trust comes in. I’m
trusting You and turning this all over to Your hands. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
I feel like Blackthorn did about Japan. I really miss my loved ones and pets. (We are not allowed to play with the dog.) I don’t want to go home yet.
Peace be with you.
