I write this on the morning of the departure of the 2017 Michigan Servants for Christ Team. There are 12 of us from 7 churches this year. This is a mostly youth and young adult team. I am excited to be able to lead this team and use my experiences to guide them and create an atmosphere of safety. God is in all things, so i'm not worried about the richness of what they will experience and feel as He moves in us this week. I'm also looking forward to reconnecting with my Haitian brothers and friends.
