Serving. . .

At our last meeting Dolly led us through a wonderful devotional that highlighted serving.  It landed us in the book of Isaiah.

Isaiah 42:1 "Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold; My chosen one in whom My soul delights.  I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth 'justice to the nations.'

Lord, We ask that You alone would uphold us.  Lord thank you for chosing us and delighting in us.  We long to delight in You.  Would you please help us to hear and yield to Your Spirit which You have put in us?  Please make us your agents for justice in the nation of Haiti.
Isaiah 58:1-12 And the Lord will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give you strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.
Lord, thank you for the promise of continual guidance.  Thank you for satisfying our desires even in the dry and weary places.  Lord we pray that You would use us as a spring of water to those around us who need Your refreshment.
Isaiah 65:13 Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, My servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry; behold, My servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; behold, My servants shall rejoice, but you shall be put to shame.
What a blessing it is to be called Your servant.  We overflow with gratitude for Your continual provision.  May we shout with JOY!  May we sing Your praise.  AMEN!!
